- Open the form β use the link at the top of this page
- Fill in your details β name, ticket number, age group, species, length
- Upload your photo
- Hit Submit β then release the fish! π
πΈ Photo Requirements
Your photo is your proof β make it count!
β
Good Photo
Fish flat on measure
Ruler/tape clearly visible
Ticket showing: number, name & competition code
Clear and in focus
β
Won't Count
No ruler/measure visible
Ticket missing or details hidden
Blurry or dark
Can't read the length
Fish is damaged or ikied
One photo is all you need. Fish on the measure, ticket next to it showing your number, name, and competition code. Quick and easy.
π Competition Code
COMPETITION CODE
β
Will be announced at competition start
The competition code is a secret code that is only released when the competition officially opens. You'll need to write it on your ticket before taking your photo.
Why? It proves your catch was made during the competition window β not before. No code = no valid entry.
The code will be announced at the start of the competition. Write it on your ticket straight away so you're ready to go.
π What You Need
- Your ticket β needs to be in the photo showing ticket number, name, and competition code
- A measuring board or tape β bring one on the boat or have one at the wharf
- Your phone β for the photo and form submission
- A pen β to write the competition code on your ticket when it's announced
π€ Android Users β Photo Upload
Can't find your photos when uploading? Here's the fix:
- Tap "Browse Files" on the form
- You'll see Camera / Files β tap "Files"
- Tap the β° menu (top left) or the dropdown that says "Recent"
- Select "Photos" or "Images"
- Pick your photo β done! β
π± This only affects Android phones (Pixel, Samsung, etc.) β iPhones work normally
π Eligible Species
- Snapper β measured by length (cm)
- Kahawai β measured by length (cm)
- Trevally β measured by length (cm)
- John Dory β measured by length (cm)
- Kingfish β measured by length (cm)
Nipper Sprat: Kids 9 and under catching sprat from the wharf β that's Catch & Release too! Same process: measure, photo, submit.
β οΈ Snapper Over 55 cm
Caught a big snapper? Legend! π
Snapper over 55 cm MUST be entered as Catch & Release. It's too big to present at the weigh-in β release it and submit your entry here with a photo. Big fish are breeding fish! π
πΆ No Phone Signal?
Out on the water with no reception? No worries:
- Take the photo anyway β fish on measure, ticket visible
- Write down the details β species, length in cm
- Submit the form when you're back in range β before the competition closes at 2:30 PM Sunday
